Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 (13.7 ounce) cans beans with tomato sauce
- 1/2 pound bacon strips cooked and crumbled
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Over medium heat, in a large skillet, cook the beef and onion, until cooked through and no pink remains.
- Stir in the sugars, ketchup, barbeque sauce, mustard, molasses, and chili powder.
- Add the beans and cooked bacon.
- Transfer the mixture to a 13x9-inch baking dish.
- Cover the dish and bake for 45 minutes. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, uncovered, until heated through.
