Ingredients
- 6 ounces dark beer such as Guinness®
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese cubed
- 4 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- scallions optional, to taste, freshly chopped, for garnish
- pretzel bites optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
- In a mini slow cooker, add the dark beer, the cream cheese, and the cheddar.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes, until warmed through and creamy, about 1 hour.
- Garnish with the scallions.
- Serve the dip with the pretzel bites.
