Ingredients

  • 6 ounces dark beer such as Guinness®
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese cubed
  • 4 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • scallions optional, to taste, freshly chopped, for garnish
  • pretzel bites optional, to taste, for serving

Directions

  • In a mini slow cooker, add the dark beer, the cream cheese, and the cheddar.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes, until warmed through and creamy, about 1 hour.
  • Garnish with the scallions.
