Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 5 teaspoons sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Set it aside.
- Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, and stir.
- Add the flour and salt, and stir until fully incorporated.
- In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
- Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out mostly clean, about 22 minutes.
- Allow the blondies to cool.
- Cut into 16 bars and serve.
