Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 5 teaspoons sugar

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Set it aside.
  • Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, and stir.
  • Add the flour and salt, and stir until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
  • Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out mostly clean, about 22 minutes.
  • Allow the blondies to cool.
  • Cut into 16 bars and serve.
