Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 (8-ounce) blocks cream cheese softened
  • 4 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup silver sprinkles
  • 3/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • vanilla wafers to taste, for serving
  • mini pretzel twists to taste, for serving

Directions

  • In a large bowl, add the cream cheese and the butter and use an electric hand mixer to beat until it is light and fluffy.
  • Add the confectioners' sugar, the brown sugar, and the vanilla to the cream cheese mixture and beat to combine.
  • Use a rubber spatula to fold the chocolate chips into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Place two overlapping sheets of plastic wrap on a work surface, then scrape the cookie dough mixture into the center.
  • Use your hands to form the cookie dough mixture into a ball, then cover it tightly with the plastic wrap.
  • Place the wrapped cookie dough ball in a small bowl and refrigerate until it is firm, about 3 hours. Note: After chilling for about 2 hours, it will be firm enough to shape into a better-shaped ball, if desired.
  • In a small bowl, add the silver sprinkles and the rainbow sprinkles and mix to combine.
  • Unwrap the cookie dough ball and place it on a serving plate. Evenly cover it with the sprinkle mixture, pressing to adhere.
  • Serve the cookie dough ball with the vanilla wafers and the pretzels.
