Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
- 4 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
- 1/2 yellow onion chopped
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 28 buttery crackers crumbled
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of the butter.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 4-5 minutes per side.
