Ingredients
- 4 cups frozen watermelon
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 1 heaping cup ice
- 1 tablespoon agave optional
- lime wheels optional, to taste
- coarse salt optional, to taste
- mint leaves optional, to taste, for garnish
Directions
- Cut the watermelon into pieces.
- Freeze for at least 6 hours.
- Combine the frozen watermelon, the tequila, the triple sec, the lime juice, and the ice in a blender. Add the agave if you prefer a sweeter cocktail.
- Blend until fully incorporated.
- Using 1 of the lime wheels, trace the rims of the intended serving glasses.
- Add the salt to a plate or shallow bowl. Dip the rims of the glasses into the salt.
- Pour the margarita evenly into the salt-rimmed glasses.
- Garnish with more of the lime wheels and the mint.
- Serve.
