Ingredients
For the sauce:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 (1-ounce) package ranch dressing mix
- 1 chicken bouillon crushed
For the lasagna:
- 9 lasagna noodles cooked according to package directions
- 6 cups chicken breast cooked and chopped
- 2 1/4 cups bacon cooked and chopped
- 3 cups cheddar cheese grated
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the flour to the butter and cook, while whisking, until the raw flour smell dissipates, about 1 minute.
- Add the heavy cream, the milk, the ranch dressing mix, and the bouillon to the butter mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Lay 3 of the noodles in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, then evenly spread 2 cups of the chicken over them.
- Sprinkle 3/4 cup of the bacon over the chicken.
- Pour about 1/3 of the sauce over the bacon layer.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese over the sauce layer.
- Repeat the layers twice.
- Bake the lasagna until it is heated through, about 45 minutes.
- Serve.
