Ingredients
- 1 (18.25-ounce) box cake mix flavor of your choice, chocolate preferred
- 1 (8-ounce) container Cool Whip
- 1 egg
- confectioners' sugar to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line an 18x26-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, add the cake mix, the Cool Whip, and the egg and stir to combine.
- By hand, form the dough mixture into even-size balls.
- In a medium shallow bowl, add the confectioners' sugar.
- Roll each of the cookie balls in the confectioners' sugar to completely cover them and place the coated cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in batches until just set, about 10-12 minutes.
- Transfer the baking sheets to a wire rack and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet before removing, about 2-4 minutes.
- Serve.
