Ingredients
- 16 strips bacon cut in half crosswise
- 1 (12-ounce) can reduced-sodium Spam cut into 32 cubes
- 1/3 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 clove garlic minced
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon pieces and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are partially cooked but not crisp, about 2-4 minutes.
- Transfer the bacon pieces to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain and keep them warm.
- Wrap 1 piece of the bacon around each of the Spam cubes, making sure to secure them with a toothpick each.
- On a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet, add the bacon-wrapped Spam cubes and spread them out evenly.
- Bake the bacon-wrapped Spam cubes for about 10 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, add the mustard, the syrup, and the garlic and stir to combine.
- Drizzle the mustard mixture eveny over the bacon-wrapped Spam cubes.
- Bake the bacon-wrapped Spam cubes until the bacon is crisp, about 5-10 minutes.
- Serve.
