Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) package egg noodles
- 3 cups chicken cooked and chopped
- 2 (10-ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 cups frozen peas and carrots
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons parsley optional, chopped, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- In a large pot of salted, boiling water, add the egg noodles and cook them until al dente, according to the package directions.
- Drain the egg noodles.
- In a large bowl, add the cooked egg noodles, the cooked chicken, the cream of chicken soup, the milk, the cheddar cheese, the frozen peas and carrots, the garlic, and the black pepper and stir to combine.
- Transfer the noodle mixture to the prepared baking pan.
- Cover the baking pan with foil.
- Bake until the noodle mixture is heated through, about 30 minutes.
- Serve garnished with the parsley.
