Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 hot dogs
  • mayonnaise to taste
  • poppy seeds to taste
  • mustard optional, to taste, for serving
  • ketchup optional, to taste, for serving

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Carefully open the crescent roll package.
  • Use 1 of the dough strips for each of the hot dogs, wrapping them to look like mummies. Be sure to leave an opening for the eyes.
  • Place the wrapped dogs on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake until light golden-brown, about 12-15 minutes.
  • Transfer the baking sheet from the oven and let the wrapped dogs cool slightly.
  • Place dots of the mayonnaise and the poppy seeds for the eyes.
  • Serve with the mustard and the ketchup for dipping!
