Recipe Background
Ah, the good 'ole ham sandwich. It's been feeding bellies out of lunch pails since the 1850s. It's certainly a classic and the perfect go-to when you're in a pinch and need a bite to eat. Well, when you have a little more time (like 30 minutes... which isn't that long!) and you're wanting to doll-up your favorite handheld, Ham Delights are how you do it! You take some sweet, fluffy Hawaiian dinner rolls and smother them with a creamy, tangy, sweet homemade condiment (after you taste this stuff, you'll never settle for pre-made anything again). Then, you top that yummy goodness with your beloved salty deli ham and smooth Gouda cheese. A sprinkle of savory everything bagel seasoning brings the crunch and the flavor. Put it all in the oven to make them melty and toasty real quick and woo-hoo! You've got yourself a transformed and renewed version of the ham sandwich, or Ham Delights, as we like to call them. Your lunch time is about to get a whole lot more exciting!

Directions

- Sprinkle the rolls with the bagel seasoning and the remaining salt.
- Cover the rolls and bake for 8 minutes.
- Carefully discard the foil and bake until the cheese has melted and the rolls are golden-brown, about 5-7 minutes.
