Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter cold
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages of cream cheese
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 (3.4-ounce) packages of instant lemon pudding mix
  • 3 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1 (12-ounce) container of frozen whipped topping thawed

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour and butter using a pastry cutter until a ball forms.
  • Press the butter mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake the butter mixture until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
  • Transfer the crust out of the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and well-blended.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and milk for 3-5 minutes.
  • Spread the lemon pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Chill until set, at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
  • Top with the whipped topping.
  • Serve.
