Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for oiling the grill grates
- 2 pieces flatbread such as naan or pita
- 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese shredded
- 8 slices bacon cooked
- 12 cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 cup lettuce chopped or shredded
- 1/2 avocado thinly sliced
- 1/8 cup red onion sliced thin
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grease the grates with the olive oil.
- Place the flatbreads on the prepared grill and cook, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the grilled flatbreads to a large platter.
- Evenly sprinkle each of the flatbreads with the cheese and arrange the bacon strips over top.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Return the flatbreads to the grill and cook until the cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes.
- Turn the grill off, transfer the grilled flatbreads to the same platter, and evenly top them with the cherry tomatoes, the lettuce, the avocado slices, and the red onions.
- Season the BLTAs with the salt and the pepper.
- Serve.
