Ingredients
- 1 pint cookies-and-cream ice cream softened
- 1 (6-ounce) ready-to-use chocolate crumb pie crust such as Oreo
- 1 1/2 cups cold half-and-half
- 1 (3.9-ounce) package chocolate instant pudding mix
- 10 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies such as Oreos, divided
- 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed
Directions
- Spread the softened ice cream evenly inside the pie crust.
- Freeze the pie crust for at least 1 hour.
- Whisk together the half-and-half and pudding mix in a medium bowl until blended and thickened, about 2 minutes. Spoon the pudding mixture evenly over the frozen ice cream in the pie crust.
- Freeze the pie again for at least 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, crush 5 of the sandwich cookies.
- Place the whipped topping in a bowl.
- Fold the crushed cookies into the whipped topping.
- Spread the whipped topping mixture evenly over the frozen chocolate pudding layer in the pie crust.
- Freeze the pie for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, crush the remaining 5 cookies.
- Sprinkle the pie with the remaining crushed cookies.
- Slice and serve.
