Oh yes. These are the snacks you've been dreaming of. Savory, golden-brown French toast sandwiches (minus the cinnamon) with classic pizza fillings — melty mozzarella, rich tomato pizza sauce, and some spicy, savory pepperoni. There's no crust like that crisp-yet-tender French toast experience. Pizza Party French Toast makes any day a festival!

Ingredients
- 1 (14-ounce) jar pizza sauce divided
- 3 unsliced hot dog buns or long bread rolls cut into bite-sized slices about 1/2-inch-thick
- 1 (8-ounce) package sliced mozzarella cheese cut into quarters
- 1 (6-ounce) package pepperoni slices optional
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- butter to taste
Directions
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the pizza sauce onto 1/2 of the bread slices.
- Top the pizza sauce layer on each with 1 quarter slice of the mozzarella, 1 slice of the pepperoni, and 1 quarter slice of the mozzarella. If there is leftover pizza sauce, use it for serving.
- Add the remaining slices of the bread on top of the cheese layers to close the sandwiches.
- In a small bowl, add the egg, the milk, and the oregano and whisk to combine.
- In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and let it heat until frothy.
- Dip the pizza sandwiches into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
- Add the coated pizza sandwiches to the hot butter and cook, flipping them once, until they are golden-brown on both sides, about 2-4 minutes per side.
- Serve with the reserved pizza sauce.
