Ingredients
- 8 cups romaine lettuce torn
- 1 1/2 cups celery chopped
- 2 medium green bell peppers chopped
- 1 medium red onion chopped
- 2 1/2 cups frozen peas thawed
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/2 pound bacon strips cooked and crumbled
Directions
- In a large bowl with a lid, add the lettuce then evenly layer it with the celery, the green bell peppers, the red onions, and the peas.
- In a medium bowl, add the mayonnaise, the sour cream, and the sugar and mix to combine.
- Evenly spread the dressing over the salad, then sprinkle with the cheese and the bacon.
- Place the lid on the bowl and refrigerate, about 12 hours.
