Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 48 cocktail-size smoked link sausages or hot dogs

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Unroll both cans of the dough.
  • Separate the dough into 16 triangles.
  • Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.
  • Place the sausages on the shortest side of each triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle, starting at the shortest side of the triangle and rolling to the opposite point.
  • Place the point side down on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake until golden brown, switching the position of the cookie sheets halfway through baking, about 12-15 minutes. Make sure the sausages are cooked to a safe eating temperature according to the package directions.
  • Immediately remove the pigs in a blanket from the cookie sheet.
  • Serve.
