Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine uncooked
- 3 medium tomatoes chopped
- 6 green onions sliced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil or 4 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
Directions
- In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine to al dente according to the package directions.
- While the pasta cooks, place the tomatoes, the green onions, the cheese, the basil, the garlic, the salt, and the pepper in a large bowl.
- Drain the linguine, return it to the pot, and toss it with the butter.
- Add the linguine to the tomato mixture and toss to combine.
