Recipe Background

Apple Slab Pie is a slam dunk of a dessert! It gets its unique name for its shape: instead of the typical round pie shape, Apple Slab Pie lays out its buttery, flaky crust and sweet, cinnamon-infused fruit filling as... well, a slab. This makes the pie look distinct, delectable, and definitely worth digging into! It's perfect for sharing and for impressing everyone at the party! Don't forget the ice cream!
