Ingredients
- 3/4 pound bacon sliced, halved widthwise
- 2 (8-ounce) packages of frozen breakfast sausage links fully cooked, thawed, halved
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed, divided
Directions
- Line a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil.
- Wrap a piece of bacon around each piece of sausage.
- Place 1/2 cup of brown sugar in a shallow bowl and roll the bacon-wrapped sausages in the sugar.
- Secure the bacon-wrapped sausages with a toothpick and place them in the prepared baking pan.
- Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Sprinkle the wrapped sausages with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
- Bake the wrapped sausages until the bacon is crispy, about 35-40 minutes, turning once.
