Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh cracked pepper
- 2 tablespoons garlic diced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter sliced into 4-6 pieces
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Season the pork with the sea salt and pepper.
- Mix together the garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, and sage in a small bowl.
- Heat the oil in a large pan on medium heat on the stove-top.
- Add the pork to the pan and cook until golden brown.
- Once golden brown, move the pork onto the baking sheet.
- Coat the pork with the herb mix.
- Place several pats of the butter on the pork.
- Wrap the pork in the foil and place into the oven.
- Bake until the tenderloin is internally 150 degrees F at its thickest part, about 25 minutes.
- Remove the tenderloin from the oven and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
- Slice against the grain and serve!
