Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix plus the ingredients called for on the package
- 2 (3.4-ounce) packages instant banana pudding
- 4 cups milk
- 1 (8-ounce) tub whipped topping
- 10 vanilla wafers crushed
Directions
- In a 9x13-inch baking dish, prepare the cake mix according to the package directions.
- Let the cake cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, add the instant banana pudding and the milk, stirring to combine.
- Use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes in the top of the cake.
- Pour the pudding over the cake, spreading it out evenly and pushing it into the holes.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Spread the whipped topping over the cake.
- Sprinkle the vanilla wafers over the whipped topping.
- Slice and serve.
