Ingredients
- 8 cups cool water divided
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 1/4 cups fresh lemon juice
- 2 cups ice
- 3/4 cup frozen blueberries
Directions
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add 1 cup of the water and the sugar and stir to combine.
- Continue to cook and stir the sugar mixture until all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Transfer the simple syrup from the heat.
- Add the lemon juice to the simple syrup and stir to combine.
- In a serving pitcher, add the ice and the remaining cool water and stir to combine.
- Add the lemon syrup and the blueberries and stir until the mixture becomes pink in color.
- Serve.
