Ingredients
- 2 lime wedges optional, for rimming the glass and decorating
- coarse salt optional, for rimming the glass
- 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce orange liqueur
- 3/4 ounce lime juice freshly-squeezed
- agave nectar optional, to taste
- ice optional, for filling the glass
Directions
- Run the lime wedge around the top rim of a margarita glass, using the juice of the fruit.
- Fill a shallow bowl with the coarse salt and dip the rim of the margarita glass into the salt, covering it with the desired amount of salt. Set it aside for later.
- Add the tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker, and shake the mix until it is fully combined.
