It's got juicy chicken. It's got crispy bacon. It's got melty cheese and tender broccoli. Oh, and it's even got fluffy biscuits! Truly, it has all you need to warm that comfort-food-loving heart (and tastebuds) of yours. Just trust us, this Bubble Bake will blow you away!

Ingredients

6 slices bacon
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups whole milk
3 cups cheddar shredded
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 large heads broccoli cut into small florets
3 cups chicken cooked and shredded
1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerated biscuits
2 teaspoons ranch seasoning mix

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, about 8 minutes, then drain on a paper-towel-lined plate. Wipe the skillet clean.
In the same skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Whisk the flour into the melted butter and cook until bubbly, about 1 minute.
Gradually stir the milk into the flour mixture and bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Whisk the cheese into the flour mixture and cook until melted, 1 minute.
Season the cheese mixture with the salt and the pepper and stir in the broccoli. Transfer the cheese mixture from the heat.
Spread the broccoli mixture into the bottom of the baking dish, then top with the chicken.
Cut each biscuit into eighths and scatter them on top of the chicken.
Chop the bacon into small pieces and scatter them on top of the biscuits, then sprinkle with the ranch seasoning.
Bake until the biscuits are golden and cooked through, about 25 minutes.
Serve.
