Ingredients
- 12 bacon strips
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place the bacon in a single layer on a foil-lined baking pan.
- Bake until lightly browned, about 16-18 minutes.
- Remove the bacon from the pan, discarding the drippings and wiping clean if necessary.
- Mix the brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon, and pepper in a medium-size mixing bowl.
- Coat both sides of the bacon with the brown sugar mixture, patting to help the mixture adhere.
- Return the bacon to the pan and bake until caramelized, 8-10 minutes longer.
- Remove immediately from the pan and serve.
