Ingredients
- 1/3 cup yellow candy wafers
- 5 cups Chex® rice cereal divided
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar divided
- 1/3 cup white candy wafers can substitute white chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup orange candy wafers
- 1/2 cup candy corn
Directions
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the yellow candy wafers.
- Transfer the bowl to the microwave and heat the yellow candy wafers in 35-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until they are melted.
- Stir 1/3 of the cereal into the melted yellow mixture until they are completely coated.
- In a resealable plastic bag, add 1/3 of the confectioners' sugar and the yellow-coated cereal. Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is fully coated.
- Pour the yellow-coated cereal onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Repeat the melting and coating steps with the white candy wafers, the orange candy wafers, the remaining cereal, and the remaining confectioners' sugar.
- Let the multi-colored-coated cereal rest on the cookie sheet until it is dry, about 1 hour.
- Add the candy corn to the multi-colored-coated cereal mixture and toss to combine.
- Pour the candy mixture into a large bowl and serve.
