Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.
- Put the butter in a 9x13-inch oven-safe dish. Set the dish in the oven rack to melt.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Stir in the milk.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven when the butter is completely melted.
- Pour the flour mixture into the heated dish, being sure not to stir it.
- Add in the cherry pie filling evenly in the pan, again not stirring.
- Raise the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
- Bake the cherry cobbler until the cobbler is golden brown, about 50-60 minutes. Serve warm!
