Ingredients

buttermilk

teaspoon
vanilla

bananas
extra ripe

cup
walnuts
chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease an 8x5-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Line the loaf pan with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, the baking soda, the salt, and the cinnamon until thoroughly combined.
In a separate bowl, combine the egg, the sugar, and the oil.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, and mix until just combined but be careful not to overmix.
Add in the buttermilk, vanilla, and mashed bananas, mixing until combined.
Pour the mixture into the loaf pan.
Top with the walnuts.
Bake until a knife inserted into the middle of the bread comes out clean, about 60-75 minutes.
Serve warm.
