Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent rolls
  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line a large pizza pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the granulated sugar, and the vanilla extract and using an electric handheld mixer, beat to combine.
  • Transfer the crescent rolls from the cans, unroll them, then separate them into the perforated triangles.
  • On the prepared pizza pan, place the crescent dough triangles, overlapping them with the long-pointed end outward, leaving an approximately 6-inch circle in the middle of the pan.
  • Where the wide area of the crescent dough triangles overlap and come together, evenly spread the cherry pie filling onto the circle.
  • Evenly spread dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top of the cherry pie filling layer.
  • Fold the pointed ends of the crescent dough triangles over the filling and pinch the dough points into the wider ends of the dough to seal.
  • Bake the ring until golden-brown, about 18-20 minutes.
  • Transfer the ring from the oven to a wire rack and let it cool slightly.
  • In a medium bowl, add the confectioners' sugar and the milk and mix until a smooth glaze forms.
  • When the ring is slightly cooled, evenly drizzle the glaze over the top of the ring.
  • With a sharp knife, cut the ring into serving-sized slices and serve.
