Ingredients
- 1 pound ground hamburger
- 1 pound ground hot sausage
- 2 pounds processed cheese such as Velveeta™, cubed
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (16-ounce) jar mild salsa
- frozen soft pretzel bites optional, to taste, prepared according to the package directions, for serving
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the hamburger and the sausage and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
- Drain the grease from the skillet.
- Add the cheese, the cream of mushroom soup, the salsa, and the cooked meat mixture to a large slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 hours.
- Serve with the soft pretzel bites.
