Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons dried sage
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes crushed
- ground cloves to taste
- 2 pounds of ground pork
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, sage, salt, black pepper, marjoram, red pepper flakes, and cloves until well combined.
- In a large bowl, place the ground pork.
- Add the spice mixture and mix with your hands until well combined.
- Form the meat mixture into six patties.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the patties to the skillet and sauté until browned and crispy, and an instant thermometer reads at least 160 degrees F, about 5 minutes per side.
- Serve.
