Ingredients
- 1 (14-ounce) can of pizza dough
- 6 large mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings
- 1 ounce of mozzarella cheese shredded
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough and stretch it out to form a large rectangle.
- Use a pizza cutter or a sharp knife to cut the rectangle into six even pieces.
- Place a mozzarella cheese stick onto each piece of the dough.
- Form the dough around each mozzarella cheese stick, making sure to seal the dough well, and pinch all seams tightly.
- Arrange the breadsticks about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Melt the butter. Stir the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning into the melted butter.
- Brush the breadsticks with the melted butter mixture.
- Top each breadstick with an even sprinkling of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake until the breadsticks are golden brown, about 12-14 minutes.
- Let the breadsticks cool for 5 minutes.
- Serve.
