Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup green cabbage shredded
- 3 ounces shiitake mushrooms diced
- 2 cloves garlic pressed
- 2 green onions thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon hoisin
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sriracha plus more, to taste, for serving
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 36 wonton wrappers
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- soy sauce optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
- Combine the pork, the cabbage, the mushrooms, the garlic, the green onions, the hoisin, the ginger, the sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of the sriracha, and the white pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Place the dumpling wrappers on a work surface.
- Using a spoon, scoop 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture and place it into the center of each of the wrappers.
- Rub the edges of the wrappers with water using your finger.
- Fold the wrapper over the filling, creating a triangle shape, then pinch the edges to seal.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- When the oil is heated, add the potstickers in one layer. Cook until golden-brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes each.
- Serve with the soy sauce and the exra sriracha.
