Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
- 6 cups Rice Chex Cereal plus more as needed
- 1 cup powdered sugar plus more as needed
Directions
- Melt the peanut butter and the chocolate together, either using the stovetop or in the microwave.
- Add 3 cups of the cereal into a large bowl.
- Pour 1 cup of the chocolate and peanut butter mixture all over the cereal.
- Add 3 more cups of the cereal to the bowl.
- Pour the remaining chocolate and peanut butter mixture on top of the cereal.
- Stir the mixture until the cereal is completely coated evenly. Add in more cereal if there are any pools of the peanut butter mixture at the bottom of the bowl.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, but do not let it harden.
- When the mixture is at room temperature or slightly below, add in 1 cup of the powdered sugar, mixing it until it is thoroughly combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool for around 15 minutes.
- Add more powdered sugar, 1/4 cup at a time, until the cereal is coated to your satisfaction.
- Serve.
