Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 8 slices rye bread
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 8 slices deli-sliced corned beef
- 1 cup sauerkraut drained
Directions
- Preheat a large skillet on medium heat.
- Using the butter, lightly smear 1 side of each piece of the bread.
- On the non-buttered sides of the bread, spread the Thousand Island dressing.
- On 4 of the bread slices, on the non-buttered side place 1 slice of the Swiss cheese, 2 slices of the corned beef, 1/4 cup of the sauerkraut, and then 1 more slice of the Swiss cheese.
- Top the sandwiches with the remaining pieces of the bread, buttered-sides out.
- Grill the sandwiches until both sides are golden-brown, flipping halfway through the cooking, about 10 minutes.
- Serve hot!
