Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk plus more as needed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour heat-treated to kill bacteria
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips mini and semi-sweet
Directions
- Combine the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
- Sprinkle evenly with the salt.
- Use an electric hand mixer to beat the contents in the bowl together until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk and the vanilla extract and mix to combine.
- Mix the flour in until just combined, careful not to overmix.
- If needed, add more milk, 1/2 tablespoon at a time, to thin out the batter.
- Carefully fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
- Store the cookie dough in the refrigerator.
- Serve whenever you want!
