Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 4 (5-6 ounce) salmon fillets
- kosher salt to taste
- lemon wedges to taste, for garnish
- parsley to taste, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- In an oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts to foam.
- Swirl the butter foam with a spoon until it dissipates and golden-brown bits form at the bottom of the skillet.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir the honey, the lemon juice, and the garlic into the butter mixture.
- Pour 1/2 of the sauce into a small bowl and set aside.
- Add the salmon to the skillet, skin-side down, and transfer the skillet to the oven.
- Bake the salmon until its internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F, about 10 minutes.
- Serve the salmon with the reserved sauce, the salt, the lemon wedges, and the parsley.
