Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) package frozen garlic bread
2 (24-ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
40 Italian-style frozen meatballs
2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
chives optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
On a baking sheet, add the garlic bread, spread-side up, and bake until it is warm and golden-brown, about 10-12 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
In a large pot, bring the spaghetti sauce to a boil.
Add the meatballs into the sauce, then reduce the stove heat to low and simmer until the meatballs are heated through, about 20 minutes.
Tear the garlic bread into bite-size pieces and spread them into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Pour the spaghetti sauce and the meatballs over the garlic bread, ensuring to coat the bread with the sauce and evenly distribute the meatballs.
Spread the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce in a layer, followed by a layer of the parmesan cheese.
Bake the casserole until the cheese has melted, about 20-25 minutes.
Sprinkle the casserole with the chives.
