Ingredients

  • 2 large tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 small sweet onions finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped
  • 1 clove garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • tortilla chips optional, to taste, for serving

Directions

  • In a medium bowl, add the tomatoes, the onions, the jalapeños, the cilantro, the garlic, the lime juice, the olive oil, the salt, the cumin, and the black pepper. Stir it well.
  • Chill for 2 hours before serving with the chips.
