Ingredients
- 4-6 cuts filet mignon
- 2-3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 4-6 teaspoons Italian garlic butter optional, for serving
- parsley optional, for serving
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Let the filets sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
- Pat the filets dry.
- Place the meat in a seasoned cast-iron skillet so the filets are close together but are not touching.
- Drizzle the steaks with the Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle them evenly with the salt, the pepper, and the granulated garlic.
- Place the skillet over medium-high heat and sear each side of the fillet mignon for 3-4 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook until their internal temperature reaches at least 135 degrees F for medium-rare, about 7-8 minutes.
- Transfer the steaks from the oven and top immediately with the garlic butter and the parsley.
- Serve.
