Ingredients
- 3 ripe medium avocados
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/4 red onion diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 jalapeño seed removed and minced
- kosher salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 cup pomegranate arils
Directions
- Cut the avocados in half lengthwise, removing the seeds.
- Scoop out the flesh into a medium bowl.
- Add the lime juice, the red onion, the cilantro, and the jalapeño to the avocado in the bowl.
- Season the mixture with the salt and the pepper.
- Using a fork, roughly mash the avocado mixture until combined and it has reached your desired consistency.
- Taste the avocado mixture for seasoning.
- Stir the pomegranate into the guacamole.
- Serve.
