Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast halves boneless, cooked, and diced
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 (8-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 (4.5-ounce) can sliced mushrooms
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons onion grated
- 1/2 cup almonds sliced
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 1/2 cups potato chips crushed
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl mix the chicken, the celery, the water chestnuts, the mushrooms, the mayonnaise, the lemon juice, the salt, the onion, and the almonds.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Top the mixture with the cheese and the potato chips.
- Bake until lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.
