Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) can chocolate syrup
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 19 ice cream sandwiches of your choice
- 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed
- 1 cup salted peanuts
Directions
- Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until hot, for a total of about 2 minutes on high. Do not allow it to boil.
- Stir the peanut butter into the warmed chocolate until smooth.
- Allow the chocolate-peanut butter mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Line the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish with a layer of the ice cream sandwiches.
- Spread 1/2 of the whipped topping over the sandwiches in an even layer.
- Spoon 1/2 of the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the whipped topping layer, spreading it into an even layer.
- Top the whipped topping layer with 1/2 of the peanuts.
- Repeat the layers once.
- Freeze the layered mixture until firm, for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
- Cut the frozen layered mixture into squares.
- Serve.
