Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/2 cup kernels
- salt to taste
Directions
- Melt the butter and the coconut oil in the instant pot using the "sauté" function.
- Add the popcorn kernels and stir until the kernels are well-coated with the coconut oil-butter mixture.
- Put the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to the venting position. It is crucial that the valve stays in the venting position.
- Cook the kernels for 5 minutes using the “sauté” function.
- Press the “cancel” button to turn the pressure cooker off.
- Carefully remove the lid. A few of the kernels may still pop after the pressure cooker is turned off.
- Transfer the popped corn into a bowl and season with the salt.
- Serve.
