Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 (24-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 (25-ounce) bag frozen square-shaped cheese ravioli
- 1 (8-ounce) bag shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef, while crumbling, over medium heat until completely browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess fat from the skillet.
- Add all but 3/4 cup of the spaghetti sauce to the skillet with the ground beef and stir well.
- Cover and simmer the meat sauce mixture, stirring occasionally, over medium-low until thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Spread 1/4 cup of the reserved spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9x13-inch glass baking dish.
- Arrange 1/3 of the frozen ravioli in a single layer in the pan.
- Top the ravioli with 1/2 of the meat sauce and 1/3 of the mozzarella, in that order.
- Repeat the layers.
- Layer the lasagna with the remaining ravioli, the remaining reserved spaghetti sauce, and the remaining mozzarella cheese, in that order.
- Bake until the cheese is completely melted and the lasagna is bubbling around the edges, about 30-40 minutes.
- Serve.
