Ingredients
- 1/4 pound butter plus more, to taste, for greasing the pan
- 1 pound spaghetti cooked
- 1 cup parmesan cheese grated, plus more, to taste, for topping
- 4 eggs
- 1 (44-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 16 ounces small curd cottage cheese
- 12 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
- fresh parsley to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Using the extra butter, grease a 10x14-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the spaghetti, 1/4 pound of the butter, 1 cup of the parmesan cheese, and the eggs together.
- Add the pasta mixture to the prepared pan.
- Top the spaghetti mixture with the spaghetti sauce and the cottage cheese.
- Sprinkle the extra parmesan cheese on top of the spaghetti mixture.
- Bake the spaghetti mixture until it is heated through, about 30 minutes.
- Top the spaghetti mixture with the mozzarella cheese and bake until melted, about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the spaghetti mixture from the oven, top with the chopped parsley, and serve.
