Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 lemon sliced into wedges, plus more, to taste, for garnish
- 1 1/2 pounds shrimp shell-on and deveined
- parsley optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the water, the butter, the apple cider vinegar, the Old Bay seasoning, and the 1/2 of the lemon to the pot and bring to a boil.
- Add the shrimp to the water mixture, reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp is cooked through and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the shrimp from the pot with a slotted spoon.
- Serve the shrimp garnished with the parsley and the extra lemon wedges.
