Ingredients
For the vinaigrette:
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinaigrette
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
For the salad:
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 4 pieces bacon optionally turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 green onion sliced
Directions
- In a small bowl, add the olive oil, the balsamic vinaigrette, the honey, the cinnamon, and the dried basil and whisk to combine.
- In a large serving bowl, add the mixed greens, the blue cheese, the blackberries, the bacon, and the green onions and toss lightly to combine.
- Add as much of the vinaigrette as desired to the salad mixture and toss to combine. There may be leftover dressing.
- Serve.
